Taking a gamble on CL

Taking a gamble on CL
Buying with the intent of having a friend take the bike and ride it as his own. However, it's a 58 and I'm not 100% sure he'll fit it... What do you guys think? If you like something or need something let me know. My initial intent was to buy this for a friend, but I also thought some of the C&Vers might want some of it if that turns out to be a bad gamble I'll offer if here first.

Welp I passed on the deal. There was a large dent in the top tube. I'm sure if I wanted to part it out and flip I could've made a profit, but my original intent was to find a nice bike for a friend. The guy was very nice and it was still a great deal but, I'll keep searching.
For anyone interested the rack was a blackburn, had a few NOS campy spindles.

Interesting he somehow neglected to mention a huge dent in his ad. I would not be surprised if this bike does not sell, or sells at a significantly lower price, where someone will get a part out deal.

Geez, sounds like a typical CL "gamble" to me. I'm still kicking myself for driving 20 min at night to see a Trek that the owner faild to mention, and the pics failed to show, was beat to H3LL and had electrical tape for a seat cover with a film of dirt and grime on the grips that made me feel violated when i accidentally touched them... Jerk
I'm still looking fo a bike for my wife.
