1970's Peugeot
Hey everyone,
So I'm looking for my first road bike and vintage ones are a bit more affordable for me. However I don't know anything about quality beyond the brand name. I'm really interested in this one, what do you all think?

Thanks

Oh no! It was just up a few hours ago.
He's asking for 140$.
I have the number so I can still give him a call. What do you think?
This old bike is ready to ride.It has a steel frame with unusual lugs and no dents or bends..The original paint has lots of scratches and nicks. The frame is 22"/56cm with a 32 1/2"/83cm standover for someone 5"6" to 6' or thereabouts. It has v pull Mafac brakes and Simplex frame mounted friction shifters. The chrome is decent and not rusted up. The tires are 27 x 1 1/4" and in good condition. Located way south in the Manchaca area between Austin and Buda.If you are interested give me a call @ 1-512 295-5287.If you get voice mail please leave a call back number I can understand.Retired, here most of the time. Thanks for looking.

Looks like the AO8 that I just bought today. It is a low end Peugeot. I paid $15 for mine, of cause mine is not in as good of a condition as that. Around Seattle area, they range anywhere from $25-$300 asking price. I wouldn't paid more than $150 for a excellent condition sample.

Could you all look at this one for me as well? So this is the epitome of my ignorance- it says 34" to handle bars, is that the same as the standover height? Because I'm about 30"-31"
