Let's see:
"New" B&M dyno lights, front and rear, at a swap meet
Sturmey Archer Dyno/Drum Brake hub
Trekking Bars
Brooks Saddle
Cheap set of brake levers from the co-op
Still to buy:
Wheel set-going to have the LBS build the front and see what I can find at the co-op for the back
Probably going to look at new drivetrain options to make this a better all rounder. So BB, front crankset and new freewheel

I dunno what universe Delta lives in perhaps the delta quadrant
but bike rack aside...all of the fasteners should be thrown away...with great force.
I wrote and emailed the company as well as put all the lock nuts and tiny hex headed bolts in an envelope and mailed them back. They suck beyond words. They don't FIT inside the throat of the locking nut unless you force them and since they are made of a soft metal, the allen wrench strips the hexes when you try to insert them. They would be doing their customers a great service if they just sold the racks without fasteners. I did much better using my own bolts and washers. except for one of their stupid soft metal bolts which is now lodged in my rack and i can't get it out.

I won a few auctions for some jerseys over the last couple of days. Hopefully they fit okay!
And picked up a Brooklyn jersey to replace my thrashed one when I got in an accident!

Garage sale find today. I dunno how I'll use it on my bike...but I'd sure like to find a way! Very minimal rust and the gasket is still good. I was thinking it could be cool if it could be powdercoated black, but I dunno how feasible that would be.

Used Kalloy (I think; no markings. oval interior) 26.8 seatpost for my Univega so that it will fit me better. The stock fluted SR was at its max height and i needed more. $8 at my local co-op
[EDIT] this thread is a pain to hunt for. When you search for the title of this thread all it searches with is "buy bike"; the rest are common words thrown out.

Not even remotely C&V...but it replaces the 1978 Austro Daimler that was destroyed: I ordered everything except the frame and the brakesets needed for my Motobecane Fantom Cross Uno. I mean everything, including a hand built wheelset. Perhaps the brakesets will qualify as C&V...they're a pair of NOS Onza H.O. cantilever brakes. huh? How 'bout it? The frame I already received.
Here's a pic I found online of Onza H.O. brakes in case anyone is unfamiliar:

Now I know where that straddle part goes. I have a set of those brakes I got in the box of junk, and never guessed those two went together. Nice....,,,,BD

I just bought/installed a wicker-basket on my 3-spd. Puch. From Nashbar. After I threw out their directions and a part of two - it works great!

Several small purchases this week:
For the Guerc: shorter 3ttt stem to replace the Modolo Speedy, and some green/white bar tape to see if it goes. If not, it will go onto the:
For the (JYB) Gianni Motta, BB cups and an aero mount DA 6s index shifters I hope to be able to change to 7 with some parts I have, and a Cinelli stem.

Just got a used Selle San Marco Concor saddle for that essential '80s look. This is for my in-progress refurb of a 1989 Centurion Ironman Master. Also coming soon: new seat post, hubs, rims, and other odds and ends...

To bump the thread, bought one thing, sort of, traded for another....
For another Ironman, bought a black 105 crankset to repl a Chorus crankset that will go on the bike. Traded a box of parts for Chorus calipers to go on the bike. Full Chorus group for the bike now.

Well, I just bought a Raleigh Sports, so I grabbed a saddlebag and headlight for it. Ultimately, I'll probably get it new tires, since the rear one seems out of round...

Hey, your Master looks very nice, indeed. This is my first Centurion, just got it recently off the big auction site. The hubs were in pretty bad shape, especially the rear, hence the replacement hubs and pending new wheel build. It's got the original SL-6400 SIS downtube shifters and Shimano 600 cranks, all in good shape. But the BB spindle had a big 'ol pit right in one of the bearing cone/shoulders. Now awaiting the arrival of another BB.
Anyway, I think it will be fun once I get it all together. I'll post some more pics at that time and if I have questions about Centurions, it looks like you'd be an excellent resource!

New seat and grips
Got a new seat and grips for my 88 fuji flair. The seat is off of an 07' Fuji Aloha Tri bike. It matched my bike so well i just could resist. Grips are just plain old gel grips. Hoping to maybe find some brake hoods that will fit on my brakes. Gotta replace the tires soon as well...they are getting a bit worn plus im not a fan of the gum wall look.
