raleigh help!

so i contacted a seller about this raleigh.

and he didnt have no info on it. only said it was raleigh hi tensil steel, had shimano rear derailer. and had a "grand" something on the top tube. im thinking grand prix. he gave me a serial number of
NIC1917.


any help on this. im trying to decide f i should eve go see it. i dont want to waste time. if it isnt even worth it.
maybe you guys can help.

Are you looking for a low end/bottom end bike project? If so, this one appears to be close to appropriate price for a keeper. Too high priced for a flipper. Terrible pictures, if the guy is close, you might go look at it.

yeah i didn't know if it was pretty crappy or not. as fro theprice i think it is high but if it was a decent enough bike i would have talked him down.

though in retrospect it does look kinda crappy.
and im to lazy to go look at it.
