I've always kinda thought a true vintage LW fan should own a Merckx at some point. I've come close but am not in the market right now. If I were this one would be tempting.

From what I hear Eddy and I are on the same page with geometry. Longish top tubes and somewhat slack seat tubes. No coincidence I'm sure that Greg LeMond also likes to "get behind" the pedals so to speak.

Eddy, Greg, Walter: Which one doesn't match?

Wonder what the reserve is?

No relation to seller, yada, yada.

He sure does. I had not looked at the other auctions before your post. I don't think I could sell those no matter how bad my knees got.

Thanks for posting, Walter. Nice frame, but that 14-34 freewheel and long cage have to go!
