Every now & again you'll see full chrome Raleigh Sports. I've heard it said that they were dealer's display bikes circa '72-'74. My guess this Super Course would fall into that same niche, however I think you're right about the upgrade: that group appears to have been plucked directly off a Raleigh Professional of the same era.

Well I'm not sure of the model, but it appears to be a well made frame w/ Reynolds 531 and a Deerhead RD, I'd certainly buy that for $70.
