I must refrain but if it is still not sold by the week weekend, i'm inclined to pick it up. Could be a nice gift for my buddy who is into bianchi.

TWENTY BUCKS!!! I'd post this in the Tandem Cycling forum except for the WOW! part of the deal. Buy it for the barcons and donate the rest. Looks like a Santana.

The seller now has it listed at $1000 -- perhaps he wanted to capture both ends of the unreal deal spectrum -- too low and too high! :foo:

... or perhaps he got a bunch of emails and realized he was giving it away, and now thinks he's sitting on a gold mine...

Beautiful Vintage Raleigh Grand Prix - $350 (Ipswich)https://images.craigslist.org/01010_...2_1200x900.jpgThis bike is a beauty from 1984 and is pretty much original. However, the original saddle had to be replaced due to deterioration of the materials, as did the seat post, tires, inner tubes and inner and outer cables. I also installed a new cassette and chain. It currently has SPD SL pedals attached and you are welcome to them or I can remove them for you.

Frame tubing is Reynolds 555 SL and I think it is in the 55/56cm range. I am 6’1” tall, so the shown saddle height should help give some indication of fit. Wheels are Raleigh branded aluminum 700c x 25mm and the tires are Continental GP 4000. The wheel bearings were replaced and repacked. The cranks are also Raleigh branded and the brakes are Dia-Compe AC 500 single pivot side-pulls. It has a twelve speed Suntour ARX drive train with downtube friction shifters.

Whenever I have been out riding this bike people have commented on how elegant it is and its almost perfect condition. I have taken 40+ mile rides quite comfortably, so no trouble being able to enjoy this bike on your favorite rides.

Vintage Specialized Allez SE Road Bike, I believe the frame to be a 56cm, in 5 9 and I ride it pretty comfortably. The bike comes with Centaur components, shimano pedals, specialized gel saddle, bike is based on a 3Rensho frame, I believe is first gen Allez frame a staple of the early days of specialized. The paint is in a bit of a rough shape bleached by the California sun but the bike rides pretty well, the bar tape and cables have been replaced, it originally had white tape and white cables with leather saddle. Reach out if you have any questions.

Vintage Schwinn Premis Road Bicycle in awesome condition, ready to ride. This is not your average Schwinn. I love the white Suntour Cyclone 7000 components; they are also quite rare. The iconic Columbus steel tubing gives this bike an awesome ride while still keeping it relatively light. The wheels are Weinmann. This is a Large frame (57 cm c-c seat tube). It is ideal for riders between 5'10" and 6'2". Cash is preferred. Bike can be seen in Cambridge, easily accessible from Somerville, Allston, and Brighton. Let me know if you have questions!

"Selling a sweet project bike that's too small for me. These early Specialized bikes are held in high regard for a reason. This one would make a great fixer upper for someone, still has the original Suntour Superbe parts (worth the asking price alone) as well as the Specialized branded 'flag' cranks and stem. There is some light surface rust in a few spots and various signs of used, but overall is very sound and up for a daily driver with a little elbow grease. Tires hold air, but will need to be replaced sooner than later. I am asking $150 as pictured. I am located in Briar Chapel, but can coordinate to meet in the greater triangle area. See pics for details and feel free to reach out with any questions."

Not my style, but I like the look of this one more than most, good price.

Anyone know what that crank is?

Shame about the dent, but this is a lot for the money.

1981 Trek 710 Project Bike – Full DuraAce - and Large lot of Parts - $250 (Greendale)

**Must take everything pictured***

Cleaning out my stash of old bikes/parts as I’ve been out of building bikes for quite some time and just need it all gone

Raleigh 27’’ front wheel with inflated tire
Brand new 27’’ Kenda tire, 2nd older 27'' tire
Older Shimano calipers/front derailleur

Yeah, it's in no-wifi territory, for sure. Probably is a factor. I suspect the squishy market means bigger, non-household name frames like this top out at $200 now, though.

That would be a cool 650bx38 candidate but I have plenty of that already.

steine13 07-18-23 08:46 PM

That's 531 not 501 but those decals are easy to misread..
