Old Raleigh Competition Fork Replacement

I bought an old Raleigh Competition frame a while back and took it to Bicycle Habitat NYC to get the BB & Headset replaced. Long story short, they stripped the threads on my fork and then tried (unsuccessfully, I found out a few months later) to re-thread it. Never going there again, obviously, but I'm going to need a new fork. Seems like there's no shortage of nice lugged chrome forks, but I can't seem to find one with fender eyelets. Any leads?

here's a crappy picture showing the type of competition. i believe it's from the 70's

Want to sell me the old fork? I've got the same frame in a smaller size. Maybe I can cut the steer tube down past the bad threads.

PM me

I say, get the fork repaired. Get a new steering tube brazed on. Those sloping crown forks are GREAT!!!!!

While you're at it, they can braze some eyelets on, too.

The Competition forks have a beautiful curve to them. That eBay fork has a dogleg.
