Does Murray make bikes?

Does anyone know if the Murray company ever produced bikes and if there is any way of contacting them, I would probably only need the town where they were located. I would appreciate any information thanks!

Bikes: Rustbuckets, the lot of them.

I have a '82 Murray Monterey cruiser made by the Murray Ohio Mfg. Co in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. I suspect any current incarnation of the Murray bike co. probably has little relation to the company that built it.

Murray doesn't seem to make bikes anymore.

Here's the "Contact" page from their website:

sad day. I remeber the murrays I owned as a kid.

They were cheap bikes, but amazingly their frames were tough as nails.

I have to concur. Schwinn definitely outclassed all of the other American manufacturers of heavy kids' bikes.

My reaction to the thread title was, "I hope not."
