Can't find the right part! Please Help!
Just bought a mid 90's Trek 420 Road bike frame with Trek Fork. I can't seem to find the right handlebar stem that goes down into the fork tube. I remember my father calling these things "goosenecks" but can't seem to figure out where to get my hands on one, Google isn't helping! Any information would be great, Thanks!

Go to eBay, search for quill stem. Very likely, the diameter of the quill is 22.2mm, and the clamp size is 25.4. There is also a stem swap thread here on BF, where you can get an idea of what you want.
Welcome to the C&V side of things, where everyone is jolly and it rains lager and wine.
Some great paths up your way. I like the trip down to Mt Vernon quite a bit.

+1 quill stem, standard size, available just about everywhere. Your local bike shop will have them too.
