Kabuki SMD

I just saw a Kabuki SMD on my local CL today and went out to see it. I should have taken pictures it was so crazy! There was a nicely scripted decal on the stainless steel downtube, and the ridiculous quill seat post was jammed all the way down . The darn thing fit me, but the seller wanted 100 dollars for it! I offered to trade him a bike that would fit him better (6 foot guy on a 48 cm frame), but he wanted to buy a "new, slick street bicycle. clean lines, single speed". I think I found an anomaly of a person who does not want an old bicycle for a fixed gear o.O.

Short story:
100 bucks too much for a Kabuki SMD? (I think it's the same as a sub-mariner).
