Thinking about buying....
So i'm on vacation in a small town in the midwest when I see a second hand store with a few older bikes outside. I stop in for a closer look and find what appears to be a late 50's Womens Hercules, classic Women's and a Men's 3sp. Schwinn Cruisers(pictured), an old Gudereit (pictured) and a few others. Now I'm wondering how many bikes my small SUV will hold as I want them all! They're all in decent shape, however with a flat tire here and there. The Men's 3sp. Schwinn is missing the cable/chain from the hub as well as the shifter. Any idea where to find something like that?

You can still buy cables for Sturmey archer and Shimano 333 hubs. My lbs carries them along with a number of online retailers. Harris Cyclery has them.

AWESOME! I may have to buy a larger hitch mounted bike rack to take these back with me. Way too cheap to pass up! What great winter projects!

I'll check it out and post a picture in a couple days. How is the date listed?
