ID a cruiser bike?

My daughter just moved to Portland and had to leave her Suteki Mixte with me for a while. A friend gave her this cruiser to ride for the time being. I know cruisers aren't real popular on this forum, but can anyone ID this bike for me?

From the drops, very blurry head badge, and front sprocket, Columbia. Early to mid 60's most likely..,,,,BD

Portland? I spent a month there on two occasions. LOVE that city!

Yes- Columbia. Late 1950s- early 1960s era it looks to me. The serial would confirm it. Columbia serial numbers are fairly reliable. If you want to be even more period correct she'll have to swap those Vans for Chucks.
