Chrome Paramount Alert!!!
I realize this in not the proper section, but I think someone here may be very interested in this. I am in no way at all affiliated with this bike either.
I was at a local flee market today and noticed a gorgeous chrome paramount. I wanted it, but the guy knew it was worth more than what I have. The couple live 30 minutes outside of Chicago, they don't want to ship the bike and they want to meet in person.
It appears to be somewhere around a 1972, the rear derailleur was a patent 72 and everything else looked correct, no lip on the FD, flat skewers etc. Everything seems to be original to the bike with the exception of the god-awful saddle.
The bonus is the Campagnolo tools and Cinelli stem tool, I tried to buy them but they insisted they stay with the bike.
They want 800 for the bike and tools, that seems reasonable to me given the market for paramounts. PM me if you want their contact information. This bike is just begging for a good home, I wish I had had the money for it.

That looks like a P13-9 to me. I don't see any eyelets on the dropouts.

I was so excited that I forgot to measure it!! It looks to be somewhere around 60 cm give or take.

That is a fair deal. I have an identical one, my 71. This one is just a few months newer.
Someone.....BUY IT!

Wow! Considering its age,it almost looks like it is in showroom condition. Price seems fair to me,

Yes, it looked very beautiful in person, minus the schwinn varsity seat!! Proofide, I took the picture with a 8 year old Cannon powershot so nothing spectacular. The picture is strange though.

wow that looks like the size I've been hunting for... and I got outbid on the '74 P13 I was eyeing on eBay last night. Nice ride.

Yeah, the decals were the biggest cosmetic problem. The name and model decals are completely gone and the seat tube is 2/3rds there. Other than that, the Campy parts were in very very excellent shape.
