Bikes: 25 at last count. One day I'll make a list

I'm really happy!!!!

I'm really happy!!!!

I listed this bike on CL and got no traffic at all!!! Not one call!!!
Then I listed it on Ebay.
I spent a bunch of time resurrecting this D-back from the grave. It really was in bad shape
Maybe it wasn't worth the time but there was something that screamed "fix Me!" when I picked it from the local thrift...
After some help and advice from fellow C/V'er's it came back to life with a vengence
So anyways after no results on the list I was like bummed cause "how could no one want this ?" !
Well let it never be said that persistence isn't a virtue:

Nice job, I actually beat around the city for a while on a sorrento with 700s wheels and caliper brakes... it was a funny bike... I eventually donated the frame to the non-profit shop and used the parts elsewhere.

The money is nice but if you figured the hours in $ I lose..but my happiness is from seeing someone else appreciate the work

You hit the nail on the head - it is very satisfying to know that someone will really appreciate and enjoy the bike you resurrected!
