If you got to be there for the Masi Mash I am officially jealous of you. I've read a few accounts of the get together and ride, and some pics even. That must have been a great experience.

Wow, the new build looks awesome. You were able to update it without loosing the vintage look. Nice job.

Thank you! But the Ultegra 6400 Tricolor group is technically "correct" as it was release in 1988, the same year I bought this bike.

Got the afternoon off from work yesterday, and finally got to take my Gran Crit out for a nice cruise up and down the coast. I live in Carlsbad, and riding on PCH on a weekday in the off-season before we get eye-deep in Saharizonan summer refugees is a nice treat.

Stopped off at Chuck's shop, Pacific Coast Cycles in Oceanside. He's got one of those slick new Masi Gran Crits in the window. When I saw a guy riding on of them a few months ago, I decided my Gran Crit deserved this NOS/NIB 6400 Tricolor Group, instead of the Miami Vice Ironman I'd been waiting for Cyclart to finish (for over 7 months), but they sold out and moved to Arkansas, so no Ironman. (Sorry Robbie.)

One of my favorite bikes on this forum just got improved. Good to see you made it a rider instead of a wall hanger.

Dennis Cristopher was right, you must be a Trekkie if you knew he acted in a few episodes.

Nice refresh for riding.

7 months at Cyclart, they move, still no completion... I bet you will be paying for extra transit when it finally gets done. We live in so much danger.
