How to Get Frame Repainted

I'm considering my options with my Bottecchia. I live right near the ocean, and am always dealing with new rust spots.

Let's say I wanted to get the frame repainted. I'm guessing I'd take off all the hardware, do a dose off framesaver myself, then find someone (LBS??) who paints frames. Any idea how much this would cost? Other options?

Thanks,

Check out Airglow. I hear they do a good job and are reasonable. Their website has a price list.

Alternatively, call or email around the powder coating shops in your area. Eventually you'll talk to someone who has experience with bikes and does their strip/prep chemically instead of just sandblasting. Pick a color and give the man something in the range of $100-120. That prep bath will peel any rust that's inside the tubes also. Then when you get the frame back go with the frame saver.
