drop outs are indeed Shimano (Shimano FS??)
and for what it might add, the serial number is : 5962329, whatever that signifies.

It appears it's a first model Vent Noir - but later model before the Vent Noir II and the Inter 10 replaced it. I'd either ride it as is, or swap-out the Shimano as NOS and replace it with Campagnolo. But that's me - always tinkering...

I took a few extra detail photos.

Nice stuff! Dont sell the Shimano components! Only replace to save its historical value so you can put it right back and ride according to the contructors intentions.

While we're on the subject, did anyone on here snag this one? I would've bid, but the auction ended by the time it even showed up in my search (both times it was listed). The hunt continues I suppose.
