Short Dia Compe Hoods
Anyone know where I can get a set of what I'll call "half hoods" for Dia Compe brake levers? The levers themselves are from 1986, the upper part of the lever is hard black plastic, only the hinged lower parts are aluminum. The hood only covers the lower part of the lever base. The ones I have are white, grimy, and badly stained. I'd like to replace them, but I don't know what they're called so have been unsuccessful with Google so far. I know pictures might help, but sorry, no can do.
UPDATE: after poking around some more I think they're probably Alpha 5000 levers, which is what the calipers are. I found a picture of the levers on a Raleigh Technium Tri-Lite posted at https://www.mrmartinweb.com/bicycle.html.
But I still don't know where to find the hood themselves. Of course, I could always throw on one of the many pairs of other levers I have lying around, but I'd like to keep it more or less original if I can.
