I rescued my Bianchi from the metal disposal. SOmeone had leaned it up against the bin. I simple trued the rims and replaced the tires and repaced all the bearings etc.. all in all it cost me $60 bucks. The bike is a dark blue with gold lettering. Bianchi is stamped on the rear drop outs. The front fork is chrome. I believe that the compontents have been changed around but the stem is SR. The handle bars and hubs are something like Sahre. I can't look at the bike because I'm away from home. (I'm trying to sell it on ebay). So I can't get pictures either. Anyway the rear rim is a weinmann as are the brakes. The front rim has been replaced for sure (araya) the deraileurs are shimano but I don't know what kind. Someone who looked at it said they wern't original. The shifters are shimano and aluminum also and located on the downtube. The cranks are 170 sugino and it has all aluminum pedals. The seat is not original. The brake pads don't make full contact with the rim and wear funny leaving a ridge so I suspect either the brakes or more likely the rims are not original. I suspect the bike is early 80s or late 70s.
