Frame ID...Ritchey? or no.
So the other day I pick up these two bikes off CL for $50. By looking at the add it looks as though the Trek is in pretty good shape and the other is just one step away from being junk. Turns out the Trek needs at least a chain and cables. The owner tells me he got it from a police auction and striped off the gray disguise paint to see what was underneath. He thinks its a Ritchey frame. Once I assembled the pieces to see what it needed, it turns out it's at least rideable. Does need work though.
Is this really a Ritchey. The Serial Number is on the Headtube: U01238172
