Silca Pump Parts?

Bummer today - I got a flat and when I went to pump up the tire, I realized the Campagnolo head on my Silca pump was missing the cap-nut that you use to cinch down on the valve. The washer was still there...

Anyone know of a place to get a replacement? Bikeville has the whole assembly (50$!!) but I don't need the whole thing, and besides, I have yet to get a response to any email I've ever sent them.

Call the place you bought it from.
Most likely they will send you the missing parts free.

The pump head that you show is an optional Campy part. Silca Impero pumps were sold without heads, and you could buy either the stock Silca head or more expensive Campy parts. Campy actually made two heads, a cheaper plastic part and the more expensive metal part shown in your photo. If you don't care about having a Campy, head you can buy a perfectly good much cheaper Silca part >>>>>> https://cgi.ebay.com/SILCA-Pump-Head-...3286.m20.l1116

All my plastic Silca Impero frame pumps have long since broken, and I've changed to Zefal HP pumps, which are all metal and have clamp on heads >>>> https://www.yellowjersey.org/hpx.html

Peeling chrome! It'll match the rest of my pump! Cool! That's so nice! Thanks!

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

as a temp 'quick fix' perhaps a 'nut' from another pump will fit.

Bikes: Two hand-crafted 1980s Italian bikes.

I have one of those Campy metal heads but the little blue rubber end caps have split open. I'm looking for replacements or, in the near term, I'd be satisfied with substitute rubber end caps from some other type of article as long as they fit. Any suggestions?

I have been getting vacume line plugs/caps from auto parts stores for this for many years. A little thicker and black matches my bikes better.

Screw thread protectors come in a variety of sizes and colors and are widely available in hardware stores. Failing that, air tubing for aquarium filters can be cut into short pieces to fit over the legs.
