what is a starfire bicycle

I own a starfire bicycle since 1984 and I was wondering what kind of bike that is. It is heavy as heck, but it has stood the test of time better than any bike i've ever owned. I just want to know what it is!!!

Most likely a generic, privately labeled brand. W/O pictures or listed components it would be impossible to ID, even if it was a well known brand. If it's a heavy 10 sp. it's a cheap bike most likely.
