Replacement Chain

I have an older 80's road bike with Shimano 600 deraileurs, a double chain ring, and 7 speed shimano freewheel. Looking for suggestions on a replacement chain as it appears I have a stiff link that is causing the deraileur to "jump" and the chain is pretty worn overall.

Thanks!

I have had good luck with the SRAM 8 speed chains. They are relatively cheap as well, starting at $17.

Shimano HG50 is one of Shimano's "official" chains ; Whippermann , KMC chains are great .... Most Co.s classify 6,7 & 8 speeds using the same width. LBS, other stores simply list ... just can't use the super skinny 10sp. No big deal.

I have had good luck with both KMC and Sram. I think either one will work well for you.

The SRAM chains also come with a master link for easy installation.
