brake cable routing ??

my bike's brake cables loop over the bars and into the tops of the campy hoods. i don't care for the exposed cable look. is there a way to re-route the cables along the bars, under the tape, and still use the same cables and hoods? or do i need a different style hood altogether and new cables? i'd like to keep the very cool looking white campy hoods and reuse the cables . thanks, dan

Hello. hold is is your bike/levers? what model are they? I suspect you need new levers that are designed to areo routed. in the late '80 early '90s Campagnolo levers (Athena/Chorus/CdA, Record) could be used either way but were usually done aero. can you post a pic of your lever or at least tell us which group they are?
