Suggest a 130mm hub threaded hub

My Guerciotti has a 130 mm rear spacing from new. I would as soon not use the modern zillion speed cassettes but a threaded type six speed would be fine. In any case what hub would be recommended for a six speed rear freewheel that is available today--or--what? I plan to purchase a Campy crankset of 80s dimensions and friction shifting bar ends.

Thanks

I don't think you're gonna come across a whole lot of threaded style hubs with 130mm spacing, threaded hubs sort of got phazed out by the time 130mm rear spacing came out. You could always take a 126mm OLD hub and add a few washes to either side, if the axle isnt long enough afterwords you may need to replace the axle too. See if you can find a 80s record hub, they spin so nice.

I'd recommend one of the Sanshin/Suntour/Specialed type sealed bearing hubs and add spacers as needed as mentioned by divineAndbright. The reason I recommend thses hubs is due to the 'cone' bearing arrangement, I think you'll be much less likely to bend an axle.

If your only going to run 6 or 7 speeds you can put all 4mm of washers on the left (non-gear) side. That would make a nicely dished wheel.

Maybe you could just find a nice 126 mm six speed hub and add 2 mm of spacers to each side.
