Please Help Me Find My Track Frame
My Name Is Mark Greco. I raced at the Kenosha Velodrome in the late 1970s thru the 1980s.
At the end of my track racing career I sold all of my bike equipment.
The Bike frame I’m Looking for has sentimental Value as it is a bike my father purchased as a Christmas gift for me in 1977.
He was also involved in cycling as a promoter for the track. He passed away several years ago.
As I look back I should never have sold the bike.
I would love to own this frame again.
Here is the frames description.
It was a Schwinn Paramount.
22 inch seat mast (56cm)
22 inch top tube (56cm)
Standard 1 inch top tube, old style track bike
The Original Color was Flamboyant Red
It could be any color and possibly doesn’t have a head badge on it.
Had the stylish Scroll Nervex Lugs like the photos below
Serial Number L7709 on rear dropout
Please Check the Old frames you have hanging in your basement
We will discuss your needs to complete this sale or transaction.
Any Information Please Email Me
Thanks Mark

Wow, this may be tougher than a needle in a haystack search. If the frame doesn't currently exist there is no needle.
Richard Schwinn at Waterford has the old Paramount frame build records. If anyone has previously requested a provenance report for this frame from them they may have that name recorded somewhere.

Amazing that you had the serial number recorded! If you haven't done so already, might I suggest you join the Classic Renzevous listserve and post the same request there.

Make sure to mention in future posts that it is a P14 and 1977 model year (the first 2 numbers in the S/N is the year). I am fortunate to have held onto my P14 S/N L7611, and have recently been riding it at my local track (Superdrome in Frisco, Texas). I wish you best of luck in locating yours.
