The Quintessential C&V Threads!

Well, there are some threads that just never die or stay in one place, they come up all the time and are kind of essential to what C&V is. This is just a fun thought I had. Any suggestions? For example:

Cottered Crank Problem, Help!

Classic Steel Beat Carbon Today!

How Retro-Grouch Are You?

Any more, anyone? Just kinda fun fat to chew.

"Hi-c fruit juice bicycle"

This one has been brought back from the dead four times. That's quintessential enough.

Actually, your statement there is what inspired me to make this thread.

Equally wierd is when someone posts a really intriguing thread back in 2007 and then says, "yeah, pictures tomorrow" and we never see them again. (I guess a little like the hi-c thread.)

Any of those that particularly stick out to you, Kurt?

(Do you go by "KK" on the yehuda moon comment boards, btw?)

So far, so good.

And I don't mind the repetition on occasion. This is a fun thing to discuss.

I blame that on the crazy notion of NOT having model decals on the bikes from the friggin factory. That is yet another reason to 'hate' the french.

How much is my rare vintage Huffy Omni race bike worth?

I'm not selling this, but does anyone want to buy it?

whoops I forgot to put ""quotes on these. They are supposed to be 2 different quintessential topics. The second being the "I'm not selling this" but I "really" am topic so you don't have to buy a membership to post in the classified section. I don't even own a huffy omni ...nor am I looking to buy one, nor is this a fishing post to avoid buying a membership and posting a wanted in the classified section.
