Recognize this head badge decal??

Does anyone recognize what brand bike this head badge decal is/was used for? It came off of a Mtn. bike I picked up today at Goodwill. The only other labels on the bike are "Made in Taiwan" and a double-butted, Tange Cro-Moly decal. I looks like it could be a decent bike under the teal paint job that probably covered the original paint. Bike looks like it's from mid to late 80's, possibly early 90's. It's an 18 speed with Shimano shifting components, Dia-Compe brakes, Sakae alloy cranks/chainwheels and alloy rims.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello can you post other pics? there might be other cluse that will help us to identify it. the seat lug/cluster. the style of the bridge for the rear cable stop (if there is one) and the dropouts. what level shimano? the shimano/DiaCompe/SR mix could mean it is a lowend but not always.

Bianchigirll - thanks for the offer to help. Sorry I'm tardy getting back to you. I'll post some pics, but it probably won't be for another week or so, till I get a chance to do some work on this bike. With virtually no responses to my thread, I'm starting to think this head badge decal might just be some bogus decal that was slapped on there when the bike was repainted and might not be representative of an actual bike manufacturer. Hopefully, we'll find out.

Sorry to say but I have never seen that head badge decal-no idea what brand it could be. Your brief description of the component mix seems to indicate mid 80's, however more pictures would help.
