Need peugeot ID Quick

The seller says it's a peugeot from 1978. It looks like it has a selle flite saddle. If you can tell the model- is it a higher end one?
I think it might actually be a 1979 pxn10

The lack of suicide levers is a positive sign. You won't come out behind on it, so if you're thinking of jumping, might as well.

Yeah I think I'll go once the seller gets back to me. The reason I'm hesitant is because it's an hour drive and I have limited space.

Revised......UO10 The seats worth $35 if its not torn. The bike itself in good condition is worth $150-175. If it were a mixte it'd be worth $850.
UO8: Steel wheels, cottered steel cranks, stem shifters.
UO9: Steel wheels, cotterless cranks, stem shifters
UO10: Alloy wheels, cotterless cranks, DT shifters

+1 I frequently travel 100 miles + one way to score deals. The toughest part is keeping the seller from selling the bike out from underneath you while you are on your way. I use similar economics to Jim's above, and I try to tie the travel in with some other activity if possible.

I went to pick it up tonight and here are the pics-

Mafacs are cool

Superbe stem can't be original

I've heard good things about stronglite cranks. These are stronglite ts are they any good?

I'm glad It didn't come with the plastic simplex rd

It was, afterall, a Selle Italia Flite Saddle. A titanium one at that. Maybe they were all ti, who knows...

hole??

I'm not sure what I'll do with this bike. The frame is too small so I may steal some parts and sell it. I'm thinking of taking the saddle, crankset, stem, and possibly the mafacs. I'd replace with spare parts and sell it for ~$120. I'm not too sure if anyone's out there looking for an original uo10, so I wouldn't feel too bad about harvesting the parts. Well, I don;t even think that it is original. IDK. Thoughts?
BTW I don't like the bubbly new BF. Im sure i'ts just because it's new; just takes some getting used to.

I don't want to even think about where this might go...
This is not original by any means. I still don't get why you would want that saddle (these were copycat saddles and bad at that) ... french-threaded cranksets are a pain, stem is about $5. If you want to flip it and it works, double and then triple check that it works and sell it as is (with a new saddle)

Where it might go? I was thinking of trying it out on my Giant Cadex, I currently am using a perforated turbo. Why is it a copycat saddle? I thought they were pretty nice. It seems quality to me.

Looks like a 77 PL10 LE; Kind of. It has Stronglght Crank, Mafacs, the rest you can see for yourself.
Not a cheap bike, a nice one. If I could get a handle on the creepy way the forum looks, I'd be straighter.
Am I to understand you got FREE stuff ? Maybe just the "new look" here but I fail to see a down side.
I must go now, I've pain behind my eyes.
