........... front badge says "polarbear"......... seat down tube says " made in western germany"

Thanks for posting. Over the years, we have seen a some Austrian bikes
in the U.S., but very few German bikes.

in the U.S., but very few German bikes.Cool head badge! The "Made in Western Germany" means that this bike pre-dates the 10/03/1990 reunification of East and West Germany. However, due to the use of the cottered crank and the Komet Coaster brake, I think it dates back to the 70's, possibly the 60's....
