Anyone have extra brass spoke washers?
I need some spoke washers for a wheel build I'm about to start--36 spokes, not sure whether I'll need one or two washers per spoke, so I figure I'd like to have 75-100 washers available. As far as I can tell, though, they're sold in lots of 1,000, which I'll never use up in this lifetime. Does someone out there who already bought a thousand of them feel like passing some on to me? I'd be happy to mail whoever that person is a five-dollar bill and a pre-addressed postage paid envelope.

Edit 2: Biketoolsetc.com I had the wrong place
Did you need spoke head, or nipple washers (isn't that a job you'd like to have?)

Nipple washing, or tit dipping as it's called in Vermont, is a part of milking on a dairy farm, and involves the use of an antiseptic solution. It's not really all that much fun.

Gentlemen keep it clean LOL
I never hear of putting a washer on the spokehead. I recall that on the old Ambrosio aero rims they had a washer between the nipple and the rim to help the nipple turn better and protect it from the rim. just what do you do with spoke head washers?
or is one of the pedant things?
OK I read craven's link now I get it. as long as we are talking wheels anyone know how do build with a 'crows foot" pattern?

I think there are directions in Jobst Brandt's book The Bicycle Wheel.
I wasn't trying to be unclean. That's a true fact about agriculture. That's how farmers--both men and women--pronounce the word "teat."
