Anybody try to run a search on eBay in the last couple of hours?

I have - it's a great improvement! Every search I do comes up with no matches. I've saved $100s just in the past few minutes!

Same here. Bizarre! Nothing is coming up in the searches. And you say it's been going on for a couple of hours? Oh boy. Somebody is getting fired.

You can search completed auctions...it's good to see what I _could have_ bid on!

They're working on the problem. It has to do with their backend servers.

For now, click on Advanced Search, choose your category (e.g., "Vintage Parts and Accessories"), click on Title and Description (it won't work if you don't) and press Search.

Actually, I got it to work from the regular search with checking 'Titles and Descriptions.' No need to go to advanced.

Still doesn't fully work. I just did a search, it worked, but then I wanted to sort it by lowest price, rather than the dreaded "best match", and I went from 320 items to zero. Glad I don't have any auctions going right now.

Now its working. OUCH.

LOL, I know what you mean. Unfortunately, nobody can find anything I have for sale either. Hopefully, it gets fixed soon.

When was this? I just entered a seller's ID in Advanced Search->By Bidder and it showed me his listings. I was also able to do a general search and sort the results.

The browsing by category is different. It doesn't have the option to select the frame size that I expect.

Went to leave feedback and list three ads - server timed out.

Maybe they're installing a buggy new interface with lots of fades
