C&V, the place where folks know these are bad things and why:

gaspipe
death forks
Gran Turismo RD
Drew.

It's the place where everyone knows that "NR" does not mean "never ridden."

It's the place where we know that some Huffy's are to die for but most suck, where "Singer" does not mean someone belting out a tune, and where "curly stays" does not mean one of the Three Stooges deciding not to leave.

We can recognize the difference between a fillet braze and a TIG weld and we love 1970's Italian frames despite their "quick release" paint jobs.

It's where seemingly random letters and numbers make perfect sense - SL, SP, SLX and SPX; 531, 753, 725, 853, etc., NR & SR; DA & 105; 36h, 120mm OLC, TA, PX-10, P-13, and so on.

It's where "Simplex" does not mean a company that makes time clocks.
