The Norms of BF C&V

a. Sixty Fiver really does look like Michael Palin in olive coveralls.

b. We don't ask for a "divine wind" when riding uphill, we ask for a "divine Siu Blue Wind."

c. RobbieTunes sings "She Rode An Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka-Dot Chesini" while dreaming of Rebbecca Twigg.

d. Campagnolo Syncros is a conspiracy.

e. French means a headache.

f. The following terms shall be met with curious indifference: "Vertical compliance," "Zipp," and "Itera."

j. a new carbon frame for Christmas is met wtih "did you get a gift receipt?"

k. like, tubular, man.....

l. we have a creepy-large number of UserID's that start with "junk..."

20grit 12-08-09 06:53 PM

not sure if it really fits. but for some odd reason people here go gaga over any CrMo frame with the exception of Reynolds 501. Not sure if it's a norm or just something i pick up on.

h. The true beginning of the Christmas season is when an onslaught of parts starts appearing in the "Pay it Forward" sticky.

lotek 12-09-09 08:23 AM

i. The carbon Fiber era begins and ends with Speedwell and Exxon Graftek
j. Trek made more than OCLV frames
k. HTFU is an unknown acronym here

Cuda2k translates to I can design the best visual search page for vintage bike parts and still rip you legs off on a ride.

latest find' threads have included that ominous response, warranted or not.
