raleigh technium

anyone know which model this would be and if I could get it for 50 would it be worth it? Not to familiar with the old Raleighs

Hard to tell from this picture, but this looks like a 12 gear hybrid/city bike. I think you can do better.

Decent commuter bike, not as bulletproof as a Trek 800 series. Suntour stuff was pretty good, and it's indexed.
At $50, a steal, at $75, right there with the Treks I just mentioned. Over that, negotiate.
At $125, it would need to be 100% ready to ride. Not that it isn't a good bike, the market at $125 here has a lot of good bikes.

+1 I agree that looks like a late '80 bottom of the line ATB. the rearwheel is bolton. if your looking for something to ride around with the kids, or just run to the store, that bike would be great at $75 to 100

it's a 12 speed Aluminum cruiser (with one of the worse index shifting systems invented and bottom of the line 2000 at that). One can get a DB steel 21 gear Shimano MTB for less than that

The Suntour Accushift 2000 is on the low end of the Suntour indexed line. I have had good luck with the higher end 4050 stuff though.
