This one is going to be a beautiful 8 speed Campy Record build that Drillium Dude has his imprint on.
I just love 8 and 9 speed Campy systems. I have a full alloy 10 speed Chorus set here, but I think the 8 speed will look great and the performance is still fantastic.
I don't know how many frames Chris has built over the many years, but I heard a number around 350. I feel privileged to have a few of his, but make no mistake, I ride each of them many, many miles every season. They are great riders that happen to look good as well.

I've yet to see one of his framesets that doesn't hit this bar.
There are a few on our local CL that are available.

Everyone I know that has one locally holds onto them for the long haul, so I am always curious when they hit CL.
FWIW It's always fun to see them out on the roads in the Twin Cities.

Thank you!
It will really be nice when I receive the frameset and do the build.
The only thing that gives me pause is an area of rust on the chainstay.
Depending on the severity, I may just drop it off at Chris Kvale's shop for some love.
I likely won't ride it much this fall anyway.
It's 33 degrees here this morning.

I could have sworn I remember you were doing Centuries across iced over lakes and through the snow covered tundra's of Minnesota in sub-zero temperatures? That's you, isn't it?

Truth be told, it was 47 windy degrees here in NYC this morning, and a 30 mile ride nearly had me crying
like a little girl a few times!

I came down with the flu over two weeks ago and it ended up turning into pneumonia.
I missed over a week of work and I'm still not back to 100%.

Chris K. is known for his attention to detail.

It has been in the 40s during the day and 30s at night here in Indy this weekend, brrr. I hope you're back up to 100% soon!

Everyone else is doing the Mankato Ramble ride today without me.
Good for them, bad for me.

Sounds like a good time. The next one should be all the more fun.
