Deal of the day down tube shifters performance
I believe this ones are 9 speed but in friction they should work awesome, even to go with a 10 speed cassette... 32.99

Out of stock

Riding like its 1990
I'm sure that's how they planned it.
I'm sick of all the things on their site listed out of stock or only in one size

NO! I need those, oh so bad! I have waiting for them go down in price for months. All the ones on Ebay are way overpriced. Anyone got some they will let go of?

Don't believe the web site. Call them directly. I just ordered some and she said they had 36 in stock.
Item #50-7580
800-727-2433
(And yes, the web site still shows them as out of stock)
P.S. They are 10 speed, not nine speed.

I can very heartily recommend the 10-sp DA down tube shifters. They're excellent. Light, responsive, a snap to set up, pretty, and you can go 2-3 gears without a chain complaint. I'll not go 10-sp STI until these things are no longer available.
*mine were 7800, compatible with my 105 10-sp FD and RD, no problem.

I ordered mine and had them shipped to my local store. I also purchased some from Chain Reaction cycles in the UK. Both 10s version. Since this is cheaper than what I paid I just called back and got the difference. WOOHOO! While I was on the line I ordered 2 more of them as backups (even though the site shows sold out). I really don't want to go to Ergo's.

The SL-7900 shifters are not friction compatible.
I hear Perfomance Bike has a pretty good return policy though.
