Bikes: I have some bikes
Taking Zaphod's advice, I found a small crack on the underside of the downtube while overhauling the headset (D'OH!), so the frame was deemed not viable.
Luckily a bike mechanic friend passed along this 62 cm Lotus Challenger frame, and we were able to get this single speed project back on track.

Here's the finished build:

Tange 900 frame
Cromolite 103 forks
Campagnolo Daytona crankset 175 mm
Campy bottom bracket 110 mm
Miche 1/8" track chainring 51T 135 BCD
MKS Sylvan Touring pedals
Dicta 16T BMX freewheel
Weinmann DP18 flip flop wheelset with Formula sealed hubs
Continental Ultra Sport tires 700x25
Nitto Handleworks I-Beam stem
Nitto Olympiade handlebards
Tektro cross levers
Dia Compe sidepull calipers
Cane Creek Gray Matter pads
Kalloy seatpost
Avocet Touring saddle
The new owner is thrilled with the build! The Campy cranks and BB are super smooth; I have an additional set of Centaur cranks and another Campy BB that I'll be using on my personal rider.
Just wanted to update folks with the happy conclusion to the sad tale of the bent fork and damaged Fuji frame (sure to become wall art soon!). Let me me know your thoughts, pro and con.

Bent ? Yep !
But all is not lost. I DO NOT suggest this, but as a kid with little money, & no other kids had any, a bicycle with a bent fork was placed in a " forked tree." BUT, this was old Sears, etc. heavy framed steel bikes.

The fork does not look bent but how about that top tube bend.

Okay, what better thread to post this, than here!
As many of you have perhaps noticed, I have an interest in the old Norman bikes made in Ashford, Kent, in the 50's. So I search ebay every now and again. Guess what pops up today?

But... what was this thread about, again?
