has anyone been/plan to go? how is it? it looks like it's pretty epic for those of us who like vintage rides and it's only an hour and a half away from me.
couple of last year's show winners for eye candy...

I rode out last year for the show/swap. Pretty fun, lots of interesting stuff. I'm intending to do it again this year, so I guess I liked it, esp. since it is a 50 mile ride for me each way. This year, I'll probably ride my Mondia & enter it in the show, since that is the most CR-esque bike I have.
Definitely old school, europhile focus, although there is a smattering of other stuff.

I have attended for years and find that the last two editions were somewhat lacklustre. I would really love for things to pick up again to the point where people were regularly traveling cross-country and internationally, but I believe that those days are gone. Maybe I'll watch the race in Philly instead. If you are in the greater DC area I would highly recommend it.

Perhaps these things are better to attempt every two years?
