Has anyone used this seat post? I'm considering it for my 1973 Gitane Tour de France.

some tend to crack on the seat clamp.
So if its not cracked, remember to not overtighten it and itshould work fine.

It's a Simplex/Spidel post. The earlier Simplex posts have gotten stupid expensive on eBay.
