M-13 II or CR-18?
Title says it all: which rims should I lace up to high-flange Normandy hubs for the Gitane? Tires will be Pasela 700x25.

CR-18 is 18mm ID, which should be used with a minimum 28mm wide tire. Not that you can't run 25mm tires on it, but you're more likely to pinch flat.

I'm currently running 23 mm tires on a CR-18 rim and the combination has been working fine for thousands of miles. But it looks a little strange since the tire is hardly wider than the rim and I agree that the M-13 would be a better choice for narrow tires (I sometimes run 35 mm tires on this bike and the CR-18 is better for those).
