Here is my Giro with SLX tubing. This is the smoothest ride I have. It's a real treat to ride. It even makes riding in the rain fun.

Tro, you (or someone) might suggest to your friend to put some ankle straps around the cuffs of his jeans. Getting a cuff caught in a chainring is no fun. Otherwise that looks like a nice ride.

This if a little trip we took from Lansing to Rose Lake in Bath MI on Presidents day. It was for us about 18 miles so we did little under 40 miles that day.

Not one of my classics, but I LOVE this bike- about 20 minutes out of the box from Germany!

Here's me now, sigh. Since I moved from Lake Charles I have barely ridden at all. When I was there I rode almost every day it wasn't freezing. I have gained 20-25 pounds since then. Made up for it with muscle gain though, at my "new" job. I only ever seem to be skinny and no muscle, or muscle bound and chubby. I am about a day away from trying to meld the two. I am dismantling a chair in the computer room, and putting the Lemond Tourmalet on the trainer. I plan to do at least an hour every night, along with diet change. I hope to be back around 210-215 by Spring,,,,BD
Here's me in 2011, believe it or not. I am on the right, The bike shop boss in the white shirt, a coworker next to him in the Fox shirt. On the left??? The infamous "Bamboo Cyclist" Who has since been convicted for a Ponzi Scheme in Utah where he stole a couple of million dollars from unsuspecting investors. I saw right through him the second he walked through the door. He talked like a salesman even in normal conversation, which was more than a little creepy.
And the Bamboo dude...

Hehe.. Well, The Tourmalet is on the trainer. By Spring I want to do some long rides, which is the main reason. Not to mention being healthier. I moved from cigarettes to vapor two months ago, and have not had a tobacco cigarette since. I no longer snore as badly, I can breathe through my nose, and I am not wheezing while I am trying to go to sleep. While probably not as healthy as smoking nothing at all, I have noticed a TREMENDOUS difference in the way I feel overall.,,,,BD

Hey all, I'm Zack, in Somerville, MA. I lurk more than I post, but I spend most of my time on C&V and Rando. Many of my bikes are works in progress, but here are my two favorites

Pinarello Opera, 2004 by zackcentury, on Flickr
and me doing one of my other favorite things, hiking, here on Mt Lafayette in the Whites

Why such a big gap in sizes between the C'dale and Pinarello? Looks to be a good 6-8 cm difference between the two? The Opera looks small since you've got so much post showing and the super long stem? Just curious.
