Someone snagged it while I was pondering. After picking up 14 bikes in the last two weeks, I really didn't need three more projects. And I don't have anywhere left to store anything.

That quill seat post alone is like gold. And a Serotta to boot? Pretty much a no brainer.

So what fork should I buy for the Serotta?

Is this one appropriate?

UP FOR BIDS ARE THREE ROAD FRAMES, ONE IS A SCHWINN ALUMINUM FRAME & FORK, A FRENCH GITANE STEEL FRAME & FORK AND A LOW END SEROTTA CROMOLY FRAME.
What, pray tell, is a low end Serotta frame? A Huffy ?

I'm just happy it wasn't my size, and that another BFer got it so we get more pics

Yeah the Serotta sold me, I've wanted to give one a shot for a while. And the fact that the other frames aren't bad didn't hurt!

Will get some nice pictures when they come in. They all look as though they could fit me. In modern terms I ride a 54 but I fit my Bianchi just fine and it's more like a 57.5 ST and 55.5TT.

Actually pretty excited to get them.

And I'm definitely interested to know if anyone can place the serotta make and if that fork is correct for it. Will start a new thread.

I was very tempted as well...free shipping on 3 frames is pretty attractive.
