Campy HPW hub

Can ayone tell me how to remove the axle from a 1996/67 Campy HPW 12 hub?

I've removed the freehub body. The lock nut on the non drive side seems imobile, maybe I'm turning it the wrong way or just not strong enough. Does it take gorrilla strength?

Cheers.

Looking at the spare parts catalog it should come off same as any other cone system. You will need two flat wrenches to get to both the cone and the lock nut. Unless I'm looking at the wrong hub.

Can you find your hub in here:

or look through these:

Thanks for the links, very helpful.

I have one Shamal 9 speed and one Shamal 8 speed with a 9 speed free hub body. I have the appropriate cone wrenches, so I should hold the cone and turn the lock nut in which direction?
