Possible windfall

One day at work my boss overheard me talking about looking at old bikes on Ebay. He said that he had 3 of his kid's old "ten speeds" in his garage. I was kind of dubious but asked him to find out what brand they were. Well, I forgot all about his until yesterday when he mentioned it again. He called his wife and she they were Treks. He just wants rid of them but I told him I'd split any cash that I got for them. I'm hoping against hope they are old enough to be steel, but I'm guessing that they are probably mid 90's aluminum. Anyway, I'll at least get some cash to finance a bike of my own, if not get a vintage ride for myself for nothing! He said if I kept one for myself, he didn't want paid for it. Hope to check them out Monday.
