Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's/60's road bikes.
I've paid attention to the fact that Scoot and I have mailed packages back and forth, but he always has me direct mail to his workplace. Think he is nervous that I might take an unannounced trip out there?

I was able to place one in London...The map does default to showing the US though...I don't see a setting for that. But, if you zoom out you'd see non-US placemarks.
Let's not turn this into something it's not please.

^^^ Sign in, get the map up, hit the edit button. Click your entry, click the placeholder icon in the upper right in the balloon that appears over the map....will bring up a menu with a bunch to choose, the bike is one of them, scroll down a bit.

Even if i put the dot on my exact location, most people would still have problems finding me.

Dang, it leaves a record of who alters the map.

I see no way to "create" a place marker, in the shape of a bike, drop, or Starship cruiser. I'm signed in to Google.
Then I placed 3 or 4 blue drops, somehow got the drop menu of icons, and it was obliterated by a dropdown menu.
I gave up and had another Yuengling. It's a killer idea, though.

We should realize that it would be bad form to modify another users entry. Unfortunately there isn't a "only edit your own" option...either the map is fully collaborative, or not. I'll forgive Matt for his outstanding pick for me yesterday...

Damn! I am really computer illiterate! I figured it out. If I'm not riding or in my basement, you can find me @ my icon's location, the local tavern. I figured the medical cross would be appropriate for me....

I put the location of a nearby mountain that happens to have the same last name as me. Come on up! The air is, thin.
