Anyone else see this lot?

I see a couple of Peugeots and a few mixties there. If I lived in that area, I'd probably give him half asking for it all. I wonder if there are any treasures in the mix.

Maybe a bunch of C&Vers from that area can go together on the lot and take turns picking. Surely there's more than $750 in value there one way or another.

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

Its not far from pretty much anyone who went to the Trexlertown Swap Meet.

Its about an hour from me...I'd want to go look before I bid. One or two gems could make the whole lot worthwhile and the rest is gravy.

maybe some gems but not worth the price.

From: Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - burrrrr!

Bikes: 1958 Rabeneick 120D, 1968 Legnano Gran Premio, 196? Torpado Professional, 2000 Marinoni Piuma

One or two gems could make the whole lot worthwhile and the rest is gravy.
My guess is that the seller has already picked out the gems, offering the rest of us the gravy. And, for what it is worth, shipping that many bikes is a costly venture. There is a fellow, here in Thunder Bay, who will transport a hundred bicycles a thousand miles for a thousand dollars. The next closest shipping quote was $3000.00.

None the less, I intend to keep an eye on this auction even thought it would surprise me if the lot sells.

So all bikes in the pictures add up to exactly 100 bikes? Doesn't that strike you as odd?

And what about other stuff, like wheels, parts? The post is too vague.

All 100 bikes are 'For parts or not working'...

This is what I was thinking too. His ebay username is "usedbikes4fun" and he has a lot of 100 bikes for sale on ebay that had been stored for restoration and sale. I bet they're mainly bottom end to lower mid level bike boom bikes.

The only actual bikes I could pick out from the horrible pictures were a Peugeot with an Inoxydable? decal and unchromed stays, an 80s Schwinn mixte frame w/ cotterless cranks, and some crappy Ross step-through.

+1 Interesting strategy. Based on his name, you would think this pile is well picked over. I need to try this with left overs!!

Right now I am moving and going through a breakup, because of this I am selling a ton of stuff really cheap. I just mention this because I see a lot of speculation and sometimes good deals really can be had. You don't know what this guy is doing I suggest you send him a message and ask. It's not me btw, I live in Oregon.

Just my 2 cents

My first thought, given the urgency of his post, was that his wife had finally put the hammer down.
