Bikes: A few bikes

Yet another project

Here is my first Competition that has started me on a slippery downhill slope. It needs a TON of work, but I like a challenge and I have a spectacular paint job planned for it. I'm currently gathering parts for it. I think I'm either going to run D/A w/ either bar ends or brifters (picked a set of 105 flight deck w/ bars and stem for $10 at the flea market) if they work or my 600 Arabesque group. Not sure yet. I'm building it up just to see how it rides and make sure it fits me before I dump a ton of cash into paint. Here are two pictures. There is no "real" rust, just surface crap. More updates as they come

Bikes: enough bikes to qualify for Hoarders......

I have a bike (or rather my son does now) running 8speed 105 brifters with 600 Arabesque drive train, the limit screws are near max but it shifts excellent and has been for almost 3 years now. I have also successfully used 10speed indexed barcons and cassette with 600 tri color with good results.

Awesome! Thanks for the input. I really NEED to get my hands on a headset for it, so I can start working on the shifting end of the build
