Any DFW area C&Vers?

Just curious as to how many of the C&V crowd reside in the DFW area.

There are lots of us in the DFW area. Two of the admins here (including myself) are from the north Dallas suburbs.

Ok, so the next question is, where are all the rides/meet and greets?

Looks like you guys will have more time to ride since your baseball season is almost over. I feel your pain. Live in the Philly area.

The annual vintage picnic and ride (though once again everyone appears to have forgotten about the whole ride part of it) was just last week. I usually try to put together a vintage ride in the spring, and there's another spring time vintage show & ride as well.

I'm in Fort Worth.

There may be information soon about a December ride outside Denton (Sanger), most likely on Dec. 18. Not specifically C&V, but I think C&V bikes will be welcome. I'm waiting for official info and will get it out when I hear. (Or maybe you can follow the planning through our Google group).

You might note that "C&V'ers" is a pretty nebulous term. I live in the DFW area, and guess I now own two bikes qualifying as C&V (which is also a nebulous term). On the other hand, a lot of the forum content is oriented more towards road bikes, as the rides have been, and I noticed on the last picnic, one of the invites on Craigslist was specific to road bikes, and that leaves me out.

Come to think of it, it you have a REALLY vintage bike, you need to make it to the Tweed Ride in Dallas here in two or three weeks- start getting your tweed stuff together now.
